Sprinkle Sprinkle- Ready, Set, Go

Rain can be such a nuisance sometimes (Forgive me Lord and all things living & green that depends on it...including us)

Being Fashionable in a downpour can be a challenge. It sucks to be caught in the rain with a new outfit and cute pair of ballet flats ...trust me, I've been there. If you are like me, Bay Area winter pretty much mean rainy days.

For starters, invest in a water repellent raincoat/jacket. In today's fashion , there are so many options available, from trench coats to rain parkas, you name it. Make sure it is water repellent and or resistance - a definite no on the Cotton trench coat, no matter how cute.

Rain boots or wellies should also be a closet staple, tucked away with its BFF-the ever reliable umbrella to be dusted off when those dark clouds hang overhead. Yes, you wore them in 5th grade but they are still fashionable and practical. Style ranges from the standard staple colors of black, blue and yellow to prints and polka dots. For the Neiman Marcus regular, you can check out high end brands such as Coach and Burberry.
